Who Are We
We are the Magee Family. We have lived at Ironwood since 1996. Jennifer and I met as we served as summer staff working as counsellors. We were married in 1997 and have 4 wonderful children. Jolynn, Gavin, Alyssa and Kayla. Over the years we both have done many different jobs here at Ironwood. Ben currently works for the program team; Jennifer is a stay at home mom and also takes care of her mom who lives with us.
One of our big questions. Where do you go to church. I am glad you asked. We attend Faith Baptist Church of Cherokee Rd. Our church rents a building from Ironwood. We have been apart of this church from day 1. Well we missed the first Sunday. But this is our church and what we love. https://desertchurch.org/
Our Mission Serving at Ironwood
Ironwood is a home missions ministry using the unique aspects of the camping ministry to reach young people for the Lord Jesus Christ, strengthen families, and serve local churches. It is a place of decision in the areas of salvation, full surrender, and consistent Christian walk.
Our Puppies
One of the things we love is our dogs. We have a couple. Cobbler and Kona are English Springer Spaniels. We raise them to help our children cover the cost of college. It has been a blessing over the years, as you know college is expensive and we are excited that all of our children have graduated debt free. We praise the Lord for that. 3 years ago we also started raising Springer Doodles. Check out our puppy page.
